Description

Defense Supply Center Richmond intends to acquire spare parts for the F404 Engine through the issuance of both unrestricted and 100% small business set-aside RFPs. This synopsis is for the unrestricted protion of the acquisition for NSN with limited sources. The solicitation number if SP0410-03-R-0765. It is anticipated that split awards will be made. The resultant contracts will be Firm Fixed Price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ). The contracts will have a twenty-four month base period and two twenty-four month option periods for a potential total maximum period of performance of 6 years if all options are exercised. A total of 39 NSNs are covered by this solicitation. The NSNs fall under the following FSCs: 2840,2915,2925,3110,3120,5342,5365, and 6150. The solicitation will be available at the web site http://www.dscr.dla.mil/proc/VPV/vpvhome.htm under the link for F404 Engine. Offerors will be required to register on the website in order to access a coy of the solicitation and related documents. The solicitation is expected to open on or about February 28,2003 and close on April 18, 2003. Once issued the documents will be available until the solicitation opening. It is the interested parties responsibility to check the web site for documents.
