Description

R-U.S. Department of Commerce (DOC), National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Environmental Satellite, Data, and Information Services (NESDIS), intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Satellite and Computer Systems, Inc. Waldorf, MD to provide support and technical services for the Data Services Team. NESDIS is responsible for NOAA'S satellite direct readout services. Major tasking will be in support of scientific and technical support for the GOES Data Collection System program. The contractor shall provide support to the analysis and redesign effort for all GOES DCS operations. This is a notice of intent and cannot be considered a solicitation. No solicitation package exist. Award will be made using simplified acquisition procedures Reference NC-11
