- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6; as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will NOT be issued. The solicitation number is DAHA05-03-T-5006, Request for Quotation. The solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses 52.208-4, 52.208-5, 52.208-6, 52.208-7, 52.212-4, 52.212-5, 52.222-21, 52.212-26, 52.222-35, 52.222-36, 52.222-37, 52.222.19, 52.225-13, 52.232-33, 252.212-7001, 252.225-7001, 252.247-7024, 52.222-41, 52.222-42, 52.222-47. This procurement is a Total Set-Aside for Small Business in accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 56110. The size standard is $6,000,000 in annual receipts (Not to Exceed). The Standard Industrial Code (SIC) is 8322. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES: The Family Readiness & Support Services Contractor will support the 140th Wing at the Colorado Air National Guard in identifying family concerns, resolving problems, helping families navigate the military system, and promoting family readiness. Additional description is contained in the Performance Work Statement which you may obtain a copy by contacting the individual identified at the end of this announcement. REQUIREMENTS: A four-year degree is preferable. Possess excellent administrative and communication skills; ability to work in a team environment; ability to plan, organize and develop family readiness sdupport type programs. Possess excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to meet deadlines; Computer skills to include MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, PrintShop, Outlook and Formflow. Ability to develop presentations. Provide information and referral assistance for military members and their families. Contractor will be available on a flexible work schedule to meet the needs of the military community. The normal duty hours are Monday through Friday from 7:30AM until 4:30PM. However, the work schedule is flexible and subject to change. Prospective contractor will dress in proper business attire while providing services in the Family Support Center. Ensure all information security measures are enforced (OPSEC, COMSEC and Force Protection conditions and procedures). Attend scheduled meetings/appointments. The period of performance of this contract is scheduled to be 14 April 2003 through 30 September 2003 with four (4) option years upon availability of funds. The technical evaluation process will be used to evaluate resumes. The criterion for evaluation of candidates will be 1) Resume 2) Education 3) Work Experience 4) References and 5) Presentation skills based on a rating scale of 1-10 ( 1 being the low). Each criteria will be graded on a scale of 1-10. Interviews will be conducted. All prospective candidates will be notified of date and time of interview. Therefore, all candidates must include a phone number and/or email address to be considered. Prospective candidates should be prepared to give a 30-minute presentation at the time of the interview on a topic of their choice. The successful candidate must obtain 1)A Tax I.D. Number 2) DUNS Number through DUN and BRADSTREET and 3) Register with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) for Electronic Funds Transfer to be awarded a contract.
