Description

Construct embankment with water level control structure, ditch plugs, berm and shallow wildlife areas; plant cool season grass mixture on structures and native grasses and forbs as specified in the plans for the purpose of restoring wetland conditions and enhancing habitat of a wetland restoration program site in Dane County, Wisconsin. The work will involve approximately 3564 CY stripping, 7452 CY earthfill, 2.5 acres shallow excavation (average depth 18") installing a water level control structure and 22 acres of seeding. Cost range is $25,000 to $100,000. Those interested individuals who hold an Small Business Administration 8 (a) program certification are eligible to respond to this request for proposal(RFP). Responses to evaluation factors are required which include past performance, technical and management capabilities, personnel qualifications and price. The site showing is scheduled for March 19, 2003 10:00 AM to meet at the UW Extension conference room located at 864 Collins Road, Jefferson, Wisconsin.
