Description

NA Aircraft Maintenance and Related Services for the Aviation Training Brigade, at the US Army Aviation Center (USAAVNC), US Army Aviation Technical Test Center (USAATTC), US Army Aeromedical Research Laboratory and other tenant and satellite units at Fort Ru cker, Alabama. The new contract will provide unit, intermediate, approved depot maintenance, as well as related services, on aircraft. The functions to be contracted include: maintenance, repair, approved depot maintenance and manufacture of aircraft com ponents, special equipment and aeronautical support equipment, and data processing services. Other services include recovery of downed aircraft, inventory management, and ammunition handling. The period of performance will be 1 October 2003 through 30 Se ptember 2004, with two one-year option periods (through 30 September 2006), and up to seven additional option periods (through 30 September 2013) depending upon successful performance. The estimated closing date for this request for proposals is 7April 20 03. The size standard applicable to this acquisition is $5.0 Million. This procurement is designated as full and open competition. All responsible sources must submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency.
