Description

NA The U.S. Army Robert Morris Acquisition Center intends to solicit, negotiate and award a contract pursuant to FAR 6.302-1 to David Wheatley Enterprises of Aberdeen, MD. This effort will provide producibility, molding, process, fixture and design engineeri ng/prototyping support for the Joint Service General Purpose Mask program and the Joint Service Chemical Environment Survivability Mask program. This effort will be performed on a cost-plus-fixed-fee basis and the duration of this effort is thirty-six mon ths. Mr. Wheatley's experience in plastics technology and manufacturing processes has allowed him to gain extensive knowledge in several different areas including molding, injection molding, testing, human factors engineering and developing testing device s. Mr. Wheatley also has expertise revolving around Respirator Design coupled with nuclear, biological and chemical materials robustly designed and built for the individual protection of U.S. war fighters. This acquired knowledge together with his unique capability to respond to program needs within twenty-four hours has allowed Mr. Wheatley to become uniquely qualified in conducting the proposed effort.
