Description

The Simplified Acquisitions Department of Federal Highway Administration, Western Federal Lands Highway Division, is issuing an unrestricted Request For Quotation packet for the reconstruction of the disposal site used during Phase 1 reconstruction of Blaine Road, also known as the Nestucca River Road, Oregon Forest Highway 155, Tillamook County, Oregon; the project is located on private land; the project includes remedial repairs to a waste site landslide area; the project is two-fold with the intent to reduce the extent of slide impact to Forest Service Road 8598 and to reduce the amount of sediment eroding off of this slide toward the Nestucca River; this is a best value procurement in accordance with FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures; estimated price range is between $50,000 and $100,000.; project includes; clearing, (brush is very heavy), road reconditioning, riprap waterway, bench construction, seeding and mulching, turf establishment; construction window for this project is August 6 through October 1, 2003; e-mail Patricia Mahurin Simplified Acquisitions for a Quotation packet; limiting packets to 10. e-mail address: pmahurin@wfl.fha.dot.gov.
