MODIFICATION/AMENDMENT FOUR (4) to FA2550-03-R-0005 SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS: Global Positioning System Support Center. 1. The Government is considering restricting this acquisition to GSA schedule holders. In order to reinforce our market research, please advise our office if your company can perform these services using an established GSA schedule. The required services cannot be split between two or more GSA contracts. 2. We have attached the most recent draft Statement of Work, dated 19 Feb 03. Minor changes and refinements are still being made; however, the required services are fairly well defined in this revision. We have also attached a draft Operating Instruction that further defines the required services. Upon final approval, the Operating Instruction will be incorporated into the Statement of Work so that guidance should be taken into consideration when responding to this sources sought. 3. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 2002 code for this requirement REMAINS 541330, Engineering Services, exception: Military and Aerospace Equipment and Military Weapons, with a size standard of $23M. HOWEVER, IT IS NOT THE GOVERNMENT?S INTENT TO RESTRICT THIS EFFORT TO SMALL BUSINESSES. THIS WILL BE FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION. 4. PLEASE NOTE: A NEW RESPONSE DATE HAS BEEN ASSIGNED. Because our requirements are now better defined, all interested GSA contractors must respond to this amendment even if you have responded to the earlier notice. PLEASE SUBMIT CAPABILITY RESPONSES BY 26 FEBRUARY 2003, 2:00PM MST. 5. PLEASE NOTE: OUR MAILING ADDRESS HAS CHANGED.
