- NAICS Code: 5612 This notice performs the following functions: 1) Notify vendors of EPA's intent to sole source to Westin St. Francis Hotel located in downtown San Francisco, California for conference/AV support from March 9, 2002 through March 14, 2003; 2) Combine the synposis and RFQ documents in accordance with FAR Part 5; and 3) inform offeror's that this requirement will be processed in accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 13. Based on the above, the following is provided: EPA intends to award a sole source commerical services simplified acquisition to Westin St Francis Hotel, 335 Powell Street, San Francisco, California. This synopsis provides a brief description of the service to be performed. They consist of the the following: 1) 20 conference meeting rooms of different sizes, and 2) Assundry of Audio Visual Equipment. The full specifications/SOW is available upon request by contacting the Joan Thurman, Contracting Officer, via the following e-mail address: thurman.joan@epa.gov. or calling (202)564-4497. EPA believes that Westin is the only vendor that meet the Government requirements within the required time frame. If any vendor believes it can provide the required services within the time frame required, please consider this notice as a request for your quote. All Qoutes must be received by the CO no later than COB 2:30 PM on 2/25/03. This is a commerical item acquisition and commerical item by referenced clauses identified (FAR 52.212-1, 52,212-4, 52.212-3 and 52.212-5) will apply. In event other technically acceptable vendors respond. EPA will make award based on best value. EPA will make award to the technically acceptable/lowest vendor. Vendors shall provide their catalog prices when responding to this cobined synopsis/RFQ.
