- The work consists of furnishing all necessary labor, tools, materials, and equipment to furnish two 8 feet X 50 feet long concrete floating docks. Work also includes for two aluminum gangways and all associated concrete piles, pile caps, and pile guides. The concrete floating dock assembly shall be constructed of reinforced concrete shells encasing polystyrene flotation billets with continuous wood whaler system. Work also includes removal and disposal of existing timber piles located in the area where the new floating docks are to be installed. In addition, this work includes selection of the pile and floating dock system and shop drawings of the proposed dock system. The work is located at U. S. Coast Guard Station Lake Worth, Riviera Beach, Florida. THIS SOLICITATION IS 100 PERCENT SET-ASIDE FOR HUBZONE SMALL BUSINESS CONCERNS ONLY. THIS PACKAGE WHEN READY WILL BE AVAILABEL IN ITS ENTIRETY AT HTTP://WWW.FEDBIZOPPS.GOV UNDER THE SOLICITATION NUMBER. All amendments and pertinent information will be available at this website. The estimated dollar value of this project is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 237990 with a three-year average annual receipts of $28.5 million. Bid quarantee, payment and performance bonds are required. The Department of Transportation (DOT), offers working capital financing and bonding assistance for transportation related contracts.
