This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the ONLY solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation F09650-03-Q-0030 is a Request for Quote. STATEMENT OF WORK (SOW) FOR EQUIPMENT UPGRADE ON ONE AN/ALM 258 / MARATHON CA-8200 TEST STATION, SERIAL NUMBER: MF 00133, Dated 12 FEBRUARY 2003. 1. The contractor shall provide tools, labor, and equipment necessary for the V2/V3 system upgrade on one AN/ALM-258 Test Station serial number MF 00133 located in MAIEWC, bldg 645 at WR-ALC. The system upgrade will include removal of the old V1 configured equipment (listed) and the installation of the new V2/V3 configured equipment (listed). Installation will also include the associated cables, mounting hardware, and software drivers. 2. Just prior to the system upgrade, Robins AFB shop personnel will verify the station as fully operational by running system diagnostics and having any failing component identified or replaced. 3. Upon completion of the system upgrade the contractor will verify the station as fully operational by successfully running station OVP (Operational Verification Performance). 4. The government will provide the contractor with an adequate amount of workspace and floor space, as required to perform the duties described in this Statement of Work (SOW). The provided space shall be used only to perform services required by this SOW. The maintenance of workspace and floor space shall be the responsibility of the contractor. The Contractor shall maintain a safe and secure environment and keep the work area in an orderly manner. The government assumes no responsibility for any equipment, tools, parts, etc. provided by the contractor.
