Description

The Aberdeen Area Indian Health Service will be accepting quotes for rental of a storage unit for the Winnebago Indian Health Service Hospital in Winnebago, Thurston County, Nebraska. The receiving equipment/materials from venndor's delivery trucks. The equipment anticipated will range in weight from under 10 lbs. to 1,000 lbs. and from under 1 cu Ft. to over 50 cu Ft. in size. The majority of the equipment will be in cardboard packaging; some of the equipment will not be packaged and other equipment will be delivered on pallets. Approximately 3,000 total pieces of equipment are estimated. The storage facility shall contain a minimum of 5,500 sq. ft. A temporary receiving/holding area of 500 sq. ft. shall be established in the storage facility. The storage facility shall have a water tight roof system, to assure no water damage from rain or snow occurs during storage. The storage facility shall be free of rodents and pests with rodent/ pest control systems in place. The storage facility shall maintain temperature between 40 degrees F. - 90 degrees F. The storage facility shall have a security system monitoring the facility 24 hours per day, seven days per week. Request for Quote (RFQ) No. RFQ-W-005 will be availabe approximately fifteen (15) days after publication. This RFQ is set-aside for Small Businesses in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 19. The period of this contract shall be on a monthly basis not to exceed twelve (12) months. The anticipated date of the initial Notice to Proceed (NTP) is April 1, 2003, to May 1, 2003. After receiving the initial NTP, the Contractor shall be ready to receive and store equipment within ten (10) calendar days. The completion date for this contract is a date correlating to the completion of the New Comprehensive Health Care Facility at Winnebago, Nebraska (anticipated range of dates from September 1, 2003 to January 1, 2004).
