Description
FIRE ALARM PHASE II - VAMC, Charleston, SC This solicitation is unrestricted, the NAICS is 238210 and the small business size standard is $12. Million.=20 The contractor shall provide all necessary tools, labor, materials, equipment, permits, license and supervision in accordance with the drawings, specifications and subject to the terms and conditions of the contract for Project 534-02-101 =93Fire Alarm Phase II=94, located at the Ralph H. Johnson, VA Medical Center, 109 Bee Street, Charleston, SC 29403-5799. Work includes but is not limited to: replace existing fire alarm devices with new devices, conduit and wiring; removal of existing hard wired Spectronic equipment, removal, replacement, patching, repair and sealing of fireproofing of all materials affected by installation of new work or removal of existing.=20 Estimated dollar value of construction is between $250,000 to $500,000. =20 Estimated solicitation issue date is March 3, 2003.=20 Estimated Bid Opening date is April 8, 2003. Specification (Bid) documents consisting of the Solicitation, Specifications, Drawings and bid forms may be downloaded without charge from the following web site: http://www.bos.oamm.va.gov/ on or about March 3, 2003. No hard copies will be provided. The solicitation, specifications and forms are in Microsoft Word format. Drawings are in TIF format. Return of the solicitation material is not required. It is recommended that interested parties enter their information in the Solicitation Mailing List (SML) at the web sit referenced above. The SML is accessible at the bottom of the Solicitation Summary page by selecting =93Enter Solicitation Mailing List Application.=94 Interested parties must go to the web site to obtain copies of the Bidder=92s Mailing List, individual copies of the bidders mailing list WILL NOT be prepared. Amendments to the solicitation will be posted on the referenced web site. Hard copies of the amendments will not be individually mailed. By entering vendor information on the SML, potential bidders will be notified electronically of any new amendments that have been posted. Bidders are reminded that they are responsible for obtaining and acknowledging all amendments to this Solicitation. Failure to acknowledge any and all amendments will result in your bid being considered NON-RESPONSIVE. Telephone request will not be accepted. This project is subject to the availability of FY 2003 funding.
