Description

NA The final Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) is released and takes precedence over previously posted DRAFT Broad Agency Announcements. All documents posted under the final BAA are in their final form, and contain the most current and accurate information reg arding the Government's requirements. The BAA solicits proposals for the establishment of a University Affiliated Research Center (UARC) to be known as the Institute for Collaborative Biotechnologies (ICB). The ICB will conduct research in two areas; (1) sensors, electronics and information processing, (2) technical fundamentals and enabling tools, to provide the interdisciplinary fundamental knowledge needed for increased mission capability through superior weapon systems and soldier survivability. Propo sals in connection with this BAA are due by 4:00pm local time, on 7 April 2003. The award will be a single non-fee bearing requirements contract having an initial performance period of five years. The contract will include provisions for task orders estimated to reach approximately $37,000,000 over the five-year term, subject to avai lability of funds. The resulting contract is projected as a fourth quarter fiscal year 2003 award.
