Description

NA The U.S. Army Engineer District, New Orleans, has a requirement to purchase Cooper Bessemer parts that are required as spares for diesel engines onboard the Dredge Wheeler. Solicitation DACW29-03-T-0034 is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This requirement is being procured as a firm fixed price contract under FAR 12, Commercial Item. The applicable Standard Industrial Code is 3519 and the business size is 1,000 employees. The NAICS code is 333618. This solicitation is issued as unrestricted. All interested parties may request a complete solicitation package by fax, 504-862-2892 or by e-mail: Melissa.K.Koehn@mvn02.usace.army.mil Request for this solicitation shall be in writing, stating the solicitation number, complete company name, point o f contact, address, area code and telephone number and facsimile number. No telephone requests will be accepted. Quotes are due on March 11, 2003 at 1130 hours. NOTE: Contractor must be registered with Central Contractor Registration to be eligible for contract award or payment from any DOD activity. Information on registration may be obtained by calling 1-800-334-3414 or via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov Registration requires applicants to have a DUNS number from Dun & Bradstreet. Registering may take up to three weeks to process. Recommend registering immediately in order to be eligible for timely award. Solicitation will be ready for issuance on or about February 24, 2003.
