Description

The work consists of the repair/alteration of an existing parking lot and automobile tour route to include, in part, site preparation and layout, demolition and construction of a restroom facility, pipeline and sewer relocation, utility connections, grading, placement, and compaction of fill, gravel, and asphalt, installation of pavement markings, retaining wall and handrail construction, signage installation, and seeding all disturbed areas, The project is located at the USFWS Squaw Creek National Wildlife Refuge near Mound City, Missouri. The magnitude of this requirement in terms of physical characteristics and estimated price range is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. This procurement is not set aside for small business concerns and will be issued unrestricted under Public Law 100-656, Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 237310, Highway, Street, and Bridge Construction, with a small business size standard of $28.5M. The solicitation package will be available free of charge approximately March 11, 2003, with bid opening scheduled for April 10, 2003.
