Description

THIS PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATION ONLY. DO NOT REQUEST SOLICITATION DOCUMENTS UNTIL THE REP IS ISSUED. The RFP will be issued on or about February 28, 2003. In accordance with FAR 5.102 (a) (7) availability of the solicitation will be limited to the electronic medium. The solicitation will be available for viewing and downloading at Internet web address http://www.esol.navfac.navy.mil. This Pre-Solicitation Notice is for Compressed Natural Gas System Maintenance at Naval Air Station, Lemoore, CA. The contractor shall furnish all labor, transportation, equipment, materials, management, and supervision to provide maintenance and testing for the CNG fueling station for optimum performance levels on all CNG equipment and any incidental appurtenances. Work includes preventive maintenance, inspection, service routine and periodic inspections and tests, and minor repairs to return the system to proper operations. This will be a Firm Fixed Price type contract. The performance will be for twelve* months from the contract start date. The duration of this contract including the exercise of any options shall not exceed five years. * The base year may be awarded for less than twelve months. The proposed contract will be 100% set-aside for Small Business. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 22121. The Small Business size standard for this NAICS code is $5 million (average annual receipts for the past three years). All prospective offerors are encouraged to register as plan holders on the website. Notifications of any changes (amendments) to the solicitation may be made only on the Internet. It will be the contractor's responsibility to check the website for any posted changes. All prospective offerors ware reminded in accordance with DFAR 252.204-7004, REQUIRED CENTRAL CONTRACTOR REGISTRATION (Mar 2000), lack of registration in the CCR database will make an offeror ineligible for award.
