Description
The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Keyport is soliciting for Computers. The Government requires a quantity 20 each that meet the following requirements: Motherboard: Intel S845WD1-E 533 MHZ RD LAN; Processor: Intel P4 2.4GHZ 533 FSB 512K; Memory (2 each) 512MB Kingston PC2100 DDR/ECC: HARD DRIVE (3 EACH) WESTERN DIGITAL 80GB 7200RPM ATA 100; Floppy Drive: 1.44MB; CDROM: Sony CDU-5211 52X; Case: Enlight P4 300ATX Mid Tower; Test: Test system with WIN XP Pro; Warranty: Memory: Lifetime replacement. First year: Contractor, after that from manufacturer. Motherboard: ONE year. First year replacement by Contractor. CPU Processor: Three years. First year replacement by Contractor, remaining two years from manufacturer. All other items: Minimum one year from Contractor. No Substitutions. The Government requires a quantity of 43 each that meet the following requirements: Motherboard: SUPM54 P4DME-M Dual XEON E7500; Memory (2 each): KINGSTON 512MB ECC/DDR PC2100 266MHZ REG; Processors (2 each): Intel XEON 2.4GHZ 512K 400FSB; CDROM: Sony CDU-5211 52X; Floppy: 1.44MB; Hard Drives (3 each): 120GB WESTERN DIGITAL 7200 RPM ATA100; Case: AMSG Mid Tower CF-1006SW; Power Supply: Zippy 460W ATX PSU; Test: Test System with WIN XP Pro. Warranty: Memory: Lifetime replacement. First year: Contractor, after that from manufacturer. Motherboard: ONE year. First year replacement by Contractor. CPU Processor: Three years. First year replacement by Contractor, remaining two years from manufacturer. All other items: Minimum one year from Contractor. No Substitutions. Required Delivery: Shipment (1) 15 each Xeons and 10 each P-IV systems to be delivered within 30 days after date of contract award. Shipment (2) 15 each Xeons a nd 10 each P-IV systems not less than four weeks and no more than six weeks after Shipment (1). Shipment (3) 13 each Xeons to be delivered not less than four weeks or more than six weeks apart from Shipment (2). FOB Destination: Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Keyport, Keyport, WA 98345. Inspection/Acceptance at Destination. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be issued by 06 Mar 03. The closing date of the solicitation will be 20 Mar 03, unless a later date is specified in the solicitation. This requirement will be procured under FAR Part 12 commercial acquisition procedures. This procurement is 100% Small Business Set-Aside. After an initial evaluation of the offers, NUWC Division Keyport intends to conduct an on-line, anonymous, competitive reverse auction to be facilitated by a third party reverse auction provider. This is a private reverse auction and only those responsible offerors submitting an offer will be invited to participate in the on-line reverse auction. In order to establish a competitive range, offerors are required to submit initial pricing prior to closing date of the solicitation. Notwithstanding the fact that the government intends to conduct a reverse auction in order to establish final pricing, the government reserves the right to award on initial offers. Submission of an offer in response to the solicitation will be considered consent by the offeror to reveal their prices in anonymity during the reverse auction. At the conclusion of the reverse auction after evaluating final pricing, the Government intends to award a contract(s) to the eligible, low-priced, responsible offeror(s). Auction instructions will be provided in the solicitation document. When issued, the RFP will be posted on the Navy E lectronic Commerce Online (NECO) web link www.neco.navy.mil. Offerors wishing to submit an offer are responsible for downloading their own copy of the RFP from this website and to frequently monitor the site for any amendments to the RFP. No telephone or fax requests for the RFP package will be accepted. An email request to klosem@kpt.nuwc.navy.mil will be accepted in the event an offeror experiences problems downloading the RFP from the NECO website. No bidders list will be maintained by this office. No paper copies of the RFP / amendments will be mailed. Failure to respond to the electronically posted RFP and associated amendments prior to the date and time set for receipt of quotes may render your offer nonresponsive and result in rejection of the same.
