Description

This acquisition is to provide elevator maintenance and repair on 32 passenger elevators (19 cable, 13 hydraulic), 19 freight elevators (5 cable, 14 hydraulic), 4 dumbwaiters (cable), 2 handicap lifts (electrical), 5 freight lifts (hydraulic), and 14 dock levelers (4 mechanical, 10 hydraulic) in 21 buildings at the United States Air Force Academy, CO. Contract period will be from approximately 01 Oct 2002 through 30 Sep 2003 with four one-year option periods. The National Acquisition Industrial Classification Standard Code (NAICS) proposed is 811310 and the business size standard is $5M. This requirement is unrestricted (full and open competition). We anticipate issuing the RFP o/a 21 Jun 02 with a closing date o/a 9 Jul 02 utilizing the Government's Electronic Posting System (EPS). This solicitation will be an Internet only and solicitation documents will not be available by any other means.
