- Description
- The Department of Transportation (DOT), Federal Aviation Administration Academy (FAAA), Contract & Program Administration, Out-of-Agency Training Team (AMA-260), has an annual requirement for EMB-120 Initial, Recurrent, and Supplementary Pilot Qualification Training. DOT/FAA anticipates award of an Indefinite Delivery/Requirements type contract with firm-fixed-prices consisting of a 1-year base contract period and two 1-year option periods to be exercised solely at the discretion of the government. Estimated Annual Requirement (EAR) is for one Initial (simulator only), one Initial (simulator and flight), two Recurrent (simulator only) and Supplementary Training on an as needed basis. To be considered qualified, each offeror must possess an applicable training program approved under Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR) Part 121 or FAR Part 135, or a training course approved under FAR Part 141 or FAR Part 145 for the aircraft identified herein. National American Industrial Classification (NAIC) code is 611512. All interested sources should first attempt to download the Screening Information Request (SIR), Request for Offer (RFO) from the internet. If downloading is not possible, all requests for a copy of the SIR should be submitted in writing either via facsimile (405-954-3030) or via my e-mail address (carolyn.s.engelke@faa.gov). This notice is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (SADBU), has a program to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by a socially and economically disadvantaged individual, and women-owned concerns to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $500,000.
