Description

The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, amd materials necessary to accomplish the following work: Mill three inch of asphalt pavement from runway shoulders. Mill 30 feet wide strips on both sides of runway approximately from Charlie taxiway to Lima Taxiway.(Approx. 35,200 SY). Provide three inch of P401 asphalt overlay in two 1.5 inch lifts. Accomplish all work during off-peak hours (2300 - 0700 hrs) and the area milled must be removed before airfield operations begin the next day. The Request for Proposals (RFP) will be available on or about 25 Mar 03. NOTE: THe RFP issuance dateis an estimate, not actual, and the actual date can be before or after the stated date. RFP will will close on or about 24 Apr 03. Performance period is 120 days after issuance of Notice to Proceed. This acquisition is Unrestricted IAW the Small Business Competitive Demonstration Program. The RFP is available by electronic transmission only. Potential contractors mustbe registered in the Central Contractor Registry to be eligible for award. (See internet site: http://www.ccr.dlsc.dla.mil). All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. Award of this contract will be made utilizing the Price-Performance Trade-Off (PPT) technique, where past performance and price will be evaluated to make award. The magnitude of this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The NAICS code is 237310 size standard is $28.5 million.
