Description

NA Non-personal services for an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract for the Dredge Yaquina ? Ship Repair to consist of a Base Year with four one-year renewal options. Funds will be obligated on the issuance of task orders. The contractor will provide all services necessary to perform annual overhaul, dry-docking, hull and machinery maintenance and repair, and general dockside ship repairs which may also be away from the shipyard at the location of the dredge. Wet Berth may be required for this contract. Contractor crane service shall be of sufficient capacity and of suitable service to accomplish all task order items. Physical characteristics of the Yaquina are: 200 ft hull length, 58 ft molded beam, 8 ft draft light at 1 790 LT displacement, and 13 ft draft loaded at 3170 LT displacement. This procurement will be awarded based on the best value to the Government with past performance as the prime selection factor. Offerors must have a current Master Ship Repair Agreement with the Portland District before award. The solicitation will be available on or about March 12, 2003 and the due date for proposals is tentatively scheduled for April 29, 2003. This procurement is open to both large and small businesses. The NAICS code for this action is 336611 with a size standard of 1000 employees. In order to conduct business with the Department of Defense, the contractor must provide registration information to the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at: http://www.ccr.gov. Facsimile and e-mail proposals are not acceptable for this action.
