- NA This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is N00178-03-R-2031; it is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). Simplified Acquisition Procedures will be used. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, intends to procure on a sole source basis from Frontier Electronics Systems Corporation, 4500 W. 6th Avenue Stillwater, OK 74075 the following items that will be used to duplicate existing Aegis simulation systems. Item Number 0001, part number 4080032-1, description SVM Modules without I/O panel, quantity 20 each. Item Number 0002, part number 4080032-1, description 3 Module I/O panels, quantity 6 each. Item Number 0003, part number 408009-1, description I Module I/O panels, quantity 2 each. This acquisition will occur via a Firm Fixed-Price contract. All items shall be delivered and accepted FOB-Destination to the Receiving Officer, Bldg. 125, Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren, Virginia 22448, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. on weekdays. No deliveries will be accepted on Federal holidays. Delivery is required no later 6 months ARO. DPAS rating for this requirement is DO-A7. This solicitation document incorporates clauses and provisions in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-12, dated 27 January 2003, and DFARS Change Notice 20030214. The NAICS Code associated with this procurement is 334290; the small business size standard is 750 employees. ALL OFFERORS MUST INCLUDE a completed copy of FAR 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items and DFARS 252.212-7000 Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items with their proposals. The closing date for receipt of proposals is 3:00 pm ET, 5 March 2003.
