- This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Request For Quotation (RFQ) number is N66604-03-Q-2164. Incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2000-07. This is 100% set-aside for small business. NAICS Code is 34111; size standard is 1,000 emp. NUWC Division Newport intends to purchase the following items: Quantity one (1) part number 31-601121-LXP, LM-USPIIe-USB/1-1024-600-PS2: 600 MHz UltraSPARC IIe processor, 1 Gbyte SDRAM, single slot board with one 64 bit PMC slot, one 10/100Base T Ethernet with front panel RJ45, two Ultra3 LVD SCSI ports, four RS232-C serial ports (one port JRS232/RS422), PS2 keyboard/mouse port via 110104-001 adapter cable, IEEE 1284 bi-directional parallel port (accessible on P2), 8 Mbytes User Flash, 4Mbytes System Flash, and VME64X interface. Includes VME64 ejectors.; Quantity six (6) Part Number 31-601122-LXP, LM-USPIIe-USB/2P2-1024-600-PS2, 600 MHz UltraSPARC IIe processor, 1 Gbyte SDRAM, dual slot board with three 64 bit PMC slots (one on base; two on expansion), two 10/100Base T Ethernet with front panel RJ45 (one on base; one on expansion), two Ultra3 LVD SCSI ports, six RS232-C serial ports (4 available on front panel), PS2 keyboard/mouse port via 110104-001 adapter cable, IEEE 1284 bi-directional parallel port (accessible on P2), audio port, 8Mbytes User Flash, 4Mbytes System Flash, and VME64X interface. Includes VME64 ejectors; Quantity one (1) Part Number 110074-001, INT-KIT-USPIIe: I/O transition modules and cables; Quantity one (1), part number 109090, SOLARIS 8 Media Kit for use with Themis USPIIe-USB products; Quantity one (1), part number 109090-101, SOLARIS 8 RTU, Appliance 1-2 CPU's (No Media) for use with Themis USPIIe-USB products; Quantity three (3) part number 108712 Cable - SCSI: Front panel SCSI-2 Fast/Wide Cable for USPIIe-1V and USPIII-3V, 68 pin, 3 foot; Quantity three (3) part number 108432 Cable - SCSI: 68P, SCSI3 6 plug ribbon; and Quantity three (3) part number 110104-002, Cable - USB: USB keyboard/mouse cable for USPIIe. Required delivery is May 1, 2003. F.O.B. Destination Naval Station Newport; Newport, RI. It is expected to place a purchase order with Themis Computer of Fremont California. They are the only known source for these items because the LM-USPIIe-USB/1-1024-600-PS2 and LM-USPIIe-USB/2P2-1024-600-PS2 are built to Lockheed Martin specifications for a system being developed at the Naval Undersea Warfare Center. No substitutions are allowed. All other timely offers will be considered. Offers for other products must contain complete product information and prices.
