- NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT TO 1 WITNESS INC DBA DRIVECAM VIDEO SYSTEMS TO PROVIDE SUPPLIES AND SERVICES UNDER AUTHORITY OF FAR 6.302: Item #0001, Purchase and installation of Drive Cam video Systems. See Subclins for breakdown of items. Item #0001AA, 100 each DriveCam forward and rear facing 32MB camera, P/N: DC2002-32; Item #0001AB, 100 each Hindsight 20/20, license fee, P/N: 6600134-1; Item #0001AC, 120 each Windshielf H bracket assembly (additional); P/N: 5300021-1; Item #0001AD, 120 each, DC power Cable (additional), P/N: 5300005-1; Item #0001AE, 20 each, one yard, VHB two-sided adhesive tape; Item 0001AF, 1 lot, onsite vehicle installation and training class; Item 0001AG, portable download device: This item includes: Dell Lattitude C840, P4, 2.2 GHZ, 15.0 IN UXGA, 256MB-DDR SDRAM, NVIDIA 32MBDDR video MEM. 3-year warranty on parts and onsite l abor by Dell. 30GB hard drive, Windows 2000,SP3, 24-10-24X CDRW, C/port2 V3 DV port replicator, nylon case, NTFS, USB, A/B CABLE 6? CA. The contractor?s name and address is 1Witness Inc. dba DriveCam Video Systems, 3954 Murphy Canyon Road, Suite D104, San Diego, California 92123 and dollar value of the award is $104,679.22. This Notice of Intent is not a request for Expressions of Interest (EOIs), proposals or quotations. No solicitation document exists and no telephone inquiries will be accepted. No contract award will be made on the basis of EOIs, proposals or quotations received in response to this notice. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement, and should furnish detailed data concerning their capabilities to provide the services sought including pricing data and technical data sufficient enough to determine that a com parable source to the government is available. The Government will be the sole determiner regarding an offeror?s ability to meet all requirements. The government will consider all EOIs received prior to 10 days after date of publication of this synopsis before 4:00 p.m. PST on that date. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. EOIs sent via the U.S. Postal Service should be mailed to the Regional Contracting Office, USMC, Post Office Box 1609, Oceanside, CA 92051-1609. EOIs sent via Federal Express or hand carried must be delivered to Building 22180, Regional Contracting Office, Camp Pendleton, California 92055 during weekdays, exclud ing federal holidays, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. EOIs may be submitted via facsimile to Attn: Pok-Su Determan at (760) 725-8445/4346. The facsimile transmission must clearly identify this notice and the name of the contracting officer on the first page. Submitters bear the burden of ensuring that the EOI reaches the designated contracting officer on time and should allow a reasonable time for facsimile transmissions to be completed. All pages of the transmission must reach the office before the deadline specified and pages of a facsimile transmission that arrive in the office after the specified deadline will not be considered. The submitter bears the risk of non-receipt of facsimile transmissions and should confirm by telephone that any facsimile was received. This purchase will be under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other Than Full and Open Com petition as authorized under FAR 6.302-1. The anticipated award date is 5 March 2003.
