Description: NA The Ground Vehicle Simulation Laboratory (GVSL) at the U. S. Army TACOM-TARDEC has undertaken an applied research technology development to enhance modeling and simulation technology. This modeling and simulation technology is intended to build upon the i nfrastructure currently existing in the GVSL and its partners. The technology developed will advance the Army’s ability to evaluate vehicle systems with regard to mobility, durability, and operations on the move. The technologies developed must be able t o execute in real-time and must be physics-based. The GVSL has developed a baseline capability for man-in-the-loop simulation with existing motion base simulators, image generators, real-time dynamics models, high performance computers, and a software fra mework which serves as the foundation for these technologies. A cost plus fixed fee level of effort, four year contract is expected to be awarded under this effort. A pre-proposal conference will be included in the solicitation. Note: All contractors mus t be registered in the Central Contract Registry (CCR) prior to receiving an award; see web-site www.ccr.gov for details on CCR.
