The period of performance is one (1) basic year with four (4) one-year options (total 5 years). Quantities: Basic ? 84 each, Opt I ? 84 each, Opt II ? 84 each, Opt III ? 84 each, Opt IV ? 84 each. Dimensions: W 5.3? x H 5.0? x D 10.9?, Weight: 10.2 lbs. Material Content: Non-corrosive metal with internal electronic components. Description and function: The Air Data Transducer has an aluminum chassis. It consists of an electronic transducer, a differential transducer final assembly, two absolute final assemblies, a machined manifold four pneumatic ports, eight push-button drain valves, a power supply, three circuit card assemblies, a connector cable assembly, and an electronic connection. The Transducer has a manifold that is used for moisture trapping. This manifold has a trap volume of 0.25 cubic inch minimum for each of the four pneumatic lines. There are also separate, hand-operated drain valves for each drain trap so that drainage can be accomplished in any rotation about the vertical axis. The transducer processes raw data from three pressure inputs of an air data probe and sends data digitally to the Central Air Data Computer (CADC). The transducer contains Central Processing Unit (CPU). The CPU contains memory and performs all numerical processing, logic operations, and data transfer control functions. The CPU receives and transmits address/data information via the system address and data bus. The remaining circuit cards provide discrete signal conditioning, Analog-to-Digital (A/D) data conversion, Frequency-to-Digital (F/D) data conversion, gating and time data, and wraparound BITE data The transducer contains Built-In Test (BIT) diagnostic features that permit testing and fault defection of all transducer parameters, functional modules, and power. The Ground Readiness Test (GRT) ENABLE signal from Electrical Multiplex (EMUX) enables the Central Integrated Test System (CITS) self-test circuitry of the transducer.
