- NA This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared under the authority of FAR 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items and in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in thi s notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The combined synopsis/solicitation number is DAAD05-03-T-0032. Requirement is for Mack Truck RTT Rig Tender spare p arts for the Government of Kenya. Delivery terms are FOB Origin. Shipping will be arranged by the cognizant DCMA office. The vendor shall supply the contracting office with the location from where the material will be shipping. This is a Foreign Milita ry Sales Requirement, FMS Case KE-B-BAR. For a complete list of items required, contact the contract specialist named below. Responses to this RFQ must be signed, dated, and received via electronic mail or fax by 21 Mar 03 no later than 4:00 PM EST at th e Robert Morris Acquisition Center, AMSSB-ACC-U (Katherine Monks), 4118 Susquehanna Avenue, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD 21005-3013. Vendors who are not registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award will not be considered. Vendors may register with CCR by calling 1-800-334-3414 or by registering online at www.ccr.gov. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors--Commercial, applies to this acquisition. The provision at 52.212-2 applies to this acquisition. Offers wi ll be evaluated based on price and delivery schedule. While price is more important than delivery, award will be made to the offeror that provides the best delivery schedule for the best price. A completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Repre sentations and Certifications--Commercial Items, must be provided with offers. The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions--Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition.
