- REQUIREMENT: The United States Government is seeking to lease a minimum of 125,000 up to 149,000 BOMA Rentable Square Feet of office and related space to compete an existing lease for potential replacement. The Government will relocate from existing space under lease if economics involved and other factors prove to be favorable. The cost of moving, alterations, impact on agency mission and other variables to be determined by the Government, will be considered in the relocation decision. Lease award is subject to final prospectus approval. This is a modification to the existing advertisement extending the due date for expressions of interest to March 10, 2003 and the due date for initial offers to March 14, 2003. The SFO is currently available on this website or through the contact below. Please note that a Program of Requirements is part of the submission package and is available by contacting Peter Marcin at the contact information below. LOCATION: All properties offered to the Government in conjunction with this requirement must be located within the following delineated area: bounded on the North by Route 267 and Chain Bridge Road; bounded on the East by the Potomac River; bounded on the West by Route 123, Gosnell Road and Route 7; bounded on the South by Route 236. The location must be within three (3) miles of a Metro Rail stop. LEASE TERM: Up to ten (10) years. EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST MUST BE IN WRITING NO LATER THAN MARCH 10, 2003 AND SHOULD INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION: 1) Building name & address; 2) Contact information and E-mail address of Lessor?s Representative; 3) BOMA rentable & usable SF available 4) Common area factor for available space by floor, if applicable. AUTHORIZED CONTACTS: In no event shall the Offeror enter into negotiations or discussions concerning the space to be leased with any Federal Agency other than the officers and employees of General Services Administration (GSA) or their authorized representative.
