This item is a next generation ultra-high performance 50 GHz Spectrum Analyzer. Using a completely digital IF section allows for the elimination of all sources of error used to characterize the IF section for measurements up to 50 GHz. This Spectrum Analyzer will be capable of performing measurements with state of the art accuracies and at uncertainties that have not previously been achievable. This instrument will operate either manually or via an IEEE bus. This item is a 10 Hz to 50 GHz ultra-high performance spectrum analyzer. The following basic parameters are a subset of the parameters which must be met or exceeded throughout the full frequency range. The Reference Level must be settable in from ?170 to +30 dBm. The Resolution Bandwidth (RBW) must be settable from 1 Hz to 5 MHz. The Frequency Reference Aging Rate must be less than or equal to 1 x 10 -7 /year. The RBW 60dB/3dB Shape Factor must be less than or equal to 5:1. Cumulative Logarithmic Display Accuracy must be less than or equal to 0.07 dB. The Noise Floor must be less than or equal to -100 dBm. The Frequency Response must be less than or equal to 6 dB. Second Harmonic Distortion must be greater than or equal to 80 dBc. General Spurious Responses must be greater than or equal to 60 dBc. Residual Responses must be less than or equal to 100 dBm. Offerors responding to this sources sought market research must (1) state whether they are a small or large business.
