- Description
- This is a sources sought announcement to identify potential sources and gather information on current capabilities within the market. The Air Force Metrology Calibration Detachment is considering a purchase of 0.05 to 26.5GHz Coaxial Mount Power Std. The anticipated quantity is thirty four (34) each of 0.05 to 26.5GHz Coaxial Mount Power Std. This standard will consist of a coaxial thermistor mount with an attached power splitter to be used with the existing Power Measurement Calibration System (PMCS) as a feed-through coaxial power standard with a frequency range of 0.05 -26.5 GHz. This Coaxial Thermistor Mount Power Standardwill be used for the calibration of high frequency/low power Power Sensors. The frequency/power range of the Coaxial Mount standard must provide calibration parameters to sensors operating in the 0.05 to 26.5GHz frequency range and input power of 10mW. The Coaxial Mount Power Standard shall provide, at a minimum, a variable ouput power of 10mW to 25mW. The Coaxial Mount Power Standard shall have less than 1.35:1 input VSWR. The Coaxial Mount Power Standard shall have output impedance of 50 ohms nominal. The Coaxial Mount Power Standard shall operate from a DC bias provided by a Weinschel/TEGAM RF Power Level Controller (1805A) or equivalent. The Coaxial Mount Power Standard connector be Type-3.5mm. Offerors responding to this sources sought market research must (1) state whether they are a small or large business. (2) indicate if they are a small disadvantaged or woman-owned business, 8(a) firm, or a historically black college or university or minority institution (HBCU/MI), or a historically underutilized business zone (HUBZone) small business; (3) provide information concerning the technical capabilities of the product you are interested in offering, including commercial literature/brochures. (4) any other pertinent information which would enable the government to assess your firm?s capabilities. (5) Provide Point of contact and assigned Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) Code. A GSA schedule acquisition is anticipated. This synopsis is for planning purposes only and is NOT to be construed as a commitment by the Government nor will the Government pay for information solicited hereunder.
