- Description
- This is a SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS to ascertain the availability and identity of contractors capable of overhaul and repair of Radiac Sets, as stated in this text. The 311 HSW/YACL, Brooks City-Base, TX is seeking sources for OVERHAUL and REPAIR for the following NSN(s) 6665-01-363-6213, 6665-01-157-3780 and 6665-01-320-4712. Contractor Furnished Material is authorized. The contractor shall provide all plant facilities, labor and equipment necessary to perform specified work. Contractor will furnish all plant facilities, labor and equipment, special tools and test equipment, and materials necessary to perform overhaul repair, calibration and functional test required to restore reparable as listed on Purchase Request to a serviceable condition so as to accomplish its intended purpose. Repairs and testing shall be manufacturers specification. This requirement does not support FMS. A three-year firm fixed price requirements type contract is contemplated to include a one-year basic period and 2 one-year option periods. The items and estimated quantities are as follows: CLIN 0001: NSN: 6665-01-363-6213, P/N: 703757, Noun: Radiac Set, Application: Multi Aircraft, Qty: Basic Year - BEQ 60 each. CLIN 0002: NSN: 6665-01-157-3780, P/N: SM400, Noun: Radiac Set, Application: Multi Aircraft, Qty: Option Period I - BEQ 300 each. CLIN 0003: NSN: 6665-01-320-4712, P/N: 702453, Noun: Radiac Set, Application: Multi Aircraft, Qty: Option Period II - BEQ 15 each. Recommended source: Nuclear Research Corp. (96696) 125 Titus Avenue, P.O. Box H, Warrington, PA 18976. Deliveries are to be at a rate as follows: CLIN(s) 0001 thru 0003: 17 each delivered per month, 30 days after receipt of assets; CLIN 0004: 4 each delivered per month, 30 days after receipt of assets. The Government does not own overhaul/repair or Technical Order (TO) procedures. Government Furnished Parts are not required; Government Furnished Material/Contractor Acquired Parts is not authorized. The submission of this information is for planning purposes only. Not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to pay for any items/services for the information received. No solicitation document exists at this time. Please note that telephone requests will not be honored.
