Description

NA Install and replace handrails in the DC Armory in accordance with the Statement of Work dated 25 February 2003, the contractor shall provide all tools, materials, parts and equipment. A mandatory site visit has been scheduled for March 6, 2003, 2:00 p.m. at the D.C. Armory, 2001 East Capitol Street, S.E. Washington, D.C. SCOPE OF WORK DCARNG HANDRAILS SW-1 Location of Work: DCARNG 2001 East Capitol St., SE Washington, D.C. 20003-1719, 1st Floor North, South, East and West. SW-2 Principle of Work: Repair or replace approximately 30 metal handrails throughout the DC Armory. Handrails will be painted black and consistent with the handrails that are currently within the facility. SW-3 Installation: The contractor will furnish all materials, labor, equipment and tools to complete the installation. The contractor must make a site visit prior to installation to insure proper sizes and other requirements are met. The contractor wil l remove debris and work materials(s) daily, during installation. Contractor must have 10 years experience. SW-4 Performance Period: Contractor will have 30 days from date of award to complete project. SW-5 Warranty: Vendor must furnish the terms of the commercial warranty associated with this item along with their bid. SW-6 Chemicals: All chemicals used to implement this process must be submitted on MSDS to the USPFO, Purchasing and Contracting, 189 Poremba Court, SW, Bldg. 350, Washington, D.C. 20373. Attention Ms. Sydney M. Rinehart. SW-7 Pre-Performance Meeting: Prior to the initiation of any work there will be a site visit to rectify any unforeseen requirements.
