Description

NA DESC: Feed Pawl, NSN: 1005-01-128-5477, Part Number 9348278, The item to procure is a Feed Pawl Assembly for use on the M249 Machine Gun. This item has been previously synopsized as DAAE20-02-R-0274. Please note the new Solicitation DAAE20-03-R-0020. Th e Feed Pawl Assembly consists of Upper and & Lower Link: Roller Link; Upper and Lower Bracket; Outer & Inner Pawl; Inner and Outer Pawl a axis and Helical Compression Spring. Material is steel, Heat treat and phosphate coating required. Solicitation will result in a 5 year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with a guaranteed minimum quantity of 1,400 each Feed Pawl Assembly. FOB is destination. Estimated issue date is 14 Mar 03, and the above requested Response Date is only an estim ate. This solicitation incorporates a Technical Data Package (TDP) that cannot be provided via the Internet. Vendors who need this TDP in order to prepare a bid or proposal are instructed to request it by submission of an email request to: tacom-ri-tdp@r ia.army.mil. Any requests should contain the following information: CAGE Code (if available), Company Name, Point of Contact (optional), Street Address, City, State, Zip Code, Telephone Number. A TDP will be provided by normal mail after the solicitatio n has been released to the Internet. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by acce ssing the following address via the Internet: https://aais.ria.army.mil/aais/SOLINFO/index.htm. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above Internet address in order to obtain any amendments, which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respo nd to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same.
