Description

NA This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are be ing requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The SIC is 7514. This solicitation serves as the Request for Quotation for rental vehicles in Honolulu, HI area as follows: Item 0001: Two Sport Utility Vehicles from 3/26/2003 through 6/12/200 3. Item 0002: Six Full Size cars from: 3/26/2003 through 6/12/2003. All vehicles are to be picked up at the Honolulu Airport, HI. Provisions at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offers-Commercial and FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items apply to this acquisition. If your company/parent company takes part in the Military Transportation Management Command Agreement with the rental car industry that includes, at no additional cost to the Government, a Collision/Damage Waiver that cove rs the vehicles rented by the Government employees while traveling, an inclusion of such a waiver in any quote received for this requirement will be considered when evaluating the best value to the Government. All quotes must include terms for off road dr iving with respect to vehicle type and additional costs as the vehicles will be used off of paved roads on occasion. When responding with a quote, include whether or not your quote includes such a waiver. Quotes shall include all state and local taxes, fe e, etc. Award will be based on best value to the Government. The Government reserves the right to shift rental dates and/or cancel completely 5 days prior to 26 Mar 2003. Offerors need to include a completed copy of the provisions at FAR 52.212-3, Offer or Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items with this offer (Registered in Central Contractor Registration, DUNS number, Cage Code, and Tax ID number). The statement at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions required to implement Statutes or E xecutive Orders-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. Offers are due COB 11Mar 03.
