- This solicitation will be released via the internet. This will be the ONLY method for distributing solicitation documents and amendments. This solicitation will be available for viewing and downloading at the following website: www.esol.navfac.navy.mil . The official planholders list will be maintained and can be printed on the website only. Amendments will be posted to the website for viewing and downloading. It is the offeror?s responsibility to periodically check the website for amendments. All prospective offerors and plan rooms are strongly encourage to register on the website. All contractual and technical questions shall be submitted to Nancy Waggoner via facsimile at (812)854-3800 or email at Waggoner_nancy@crane.navy.mil. Solicitation documents will only be available electronically at the following website: www.esol.navfac.navy.mil. Scope of work is: provide necessary labor, transportation, materials, supplies, equipment and supervision for lawn maintenance services and snow plowing at the Naval and Marine Corp Reserve Center, Battle Creek, Michigan. Work includes snow plowing, salting, cutting and trimming grass, edging and general clean-up of debris. Contractors are URGED to inspect the site where the services are to be performed and satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of the contract performance, to the extent that the information is reasonably obtainable. Estimated cost range is less than $100,000.00. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation whose offeror conforming to the solicitation will be the most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors will be used to evaluate the offers: past performance and performance narrative. These technical factors when combined are equal in value to the price. The solicitation contains provisions for a 12 month base year plus four 12-month option periods to be exercised at the discretion of the Government. NAICS Code is 561730, Landscaping Services with a size standard of $6.0 Million. This solicitation will be issued as a small business set-aside procurement. Solicitation documents will only be available electronically at the following website: www.esol.navfac.navy.mil. Approximate release date is 28 February 2003 with proposal due 13 March 2003 at 4:00 PM.
