- Description
- This is a sources sought announcement to identify potential sources and gather information on current capabilities within the market. The Air Force Metrology Calibration Detachment is considering a purchase of Low Gas Flow Calibration System. The anticipated quantity is one (1) each of Low Gas Flow Calibration System. The system consists of secondary standards for the precise measurement of low gas flowrates. The system is comprised of temperature, pressure, and flowrate sensors that provide for automated flowrate setpoints, data acquisition, and associated computations. The Low Gas Flow Calibration System (LGFC) is an integrated calibration system covering the gas flow range of 10 sccm to 100 lpm with full compensation for temperature and pressure conditions in the flowing gas stream. Operation is fully automated, including setting individual on-demand flowrate points as well as multi-point calibration sequences and data acquisition from the Test Instrument being calibrated (when TI has an RS232, IEEE-488, or analog output). The LGFC operator interface is through a dedicated system controller with display, keyboard and pointing device. The LGFC shall have a maximum uncertainty of +/-0.20% of indicated reading. The LGFC provides for the automated calibration of molbloc and laminar flow element sensors. Offerors responding to this sources sought market research must (1) state whether they are a small or large business. (2) indicate if they are a small disadvantaged or woman-owned business, 8(a) firm, or a historically black college or university or minority institution (HBCU/MI), or a historically underutilized business zone (HUBZone) small business; (3) provide information concerning the technical capabilities of the product you are interested in offering, including commercial literature/brochures. (4) any other pertinent information which would enable the government to assess your firm's capabilities. (5) Provide Point of contact and assigned Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) Code. A GSA schedule acquisition is anticipated. This synopsis is for planning purposes only and is NOT to be construed as a commitment by the Government nor will the Government pay for information solicited hereunder. At this time, no solicitation exists. Submit all responses to this notice to the point of contact listed below. All responses/questions should be submitted to Glenna Pound Contracting officer via e-mail at Glenna.Pound@afmetcal.af.mil or by Fax at 740-788-5157 or mail to 813 Irving-wick Dr W Heath Oh 43056-6116 if e-mail is not possible.
