Description

The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Jacksonville,Florida intends to issue a contract under the authority of Federal Regulation 6.302 to Praxair Surface Technologies Incorporated, 1234 Atlantic Street, North Kansas City, MO for the hard coating of an estimated 2000 each 1st stage compressor J-52 engine blades, part number 660301 in accordance with Pratt & Whitney hard coating specification PWA-46. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability by submitting a capability proposal. This notice of intent is not a request for a competitive proposal. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS.GOV ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (21-OCT-2002). IT ACTUALLY FIRST APPEARED ON THE FEDBIZOPPS SYSTEM ON 02-MAR-2003.
