- Description
- Contractor shall completely prepare site for building operations, including demolition and removal of existing structures, and furnish labor, materials and equipment necessary to install new duct runs and fiber optic cable from Building 18 to Buildings 1, 31, and 30 including all associated equipment for project 538-03-02, Fiber Optic Cable Expansion, at the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Chillicothe, Ohio as required by the drawings and specifications. Duct runs are exterior underground and inside of buildings. Work to be completed within 90 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. Plans and specifications will be available o/a 03/24/2003. Drawings will not be available on the web and must be requested in writing, requests may be faxed to 740-772-7008. Requests for paper copies of plans and specifications must be requested in writing to the Contracting Officer and may be faxed to 740-772-7008. Estimated cost range is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. A pre-bid conference and site visit will be held April 8, 2003, at 10:00 AM (local time) at the DVA Medical Center, Building 28, Room 213, 17273 State Route 104, Chillicothe, Ohio; all prospective contractors, subcontractors and suppliers are encouraged to attend. 100% Set-Aside for Small Business.
