Description

NA Programmed drydocking, cleaning, painting, repairs and modifications to the U.S. Army Reserve Vessel Landing Craft Utility, stationed at Tacoma, Washington. Dimensions as follows: Length Overall: 135 Feet, 1 5/16 Inches; Molded Beam: 29 Feet, 9 1/8 Inc hes; Molded Depth: 8 Feet; Construction: Steel; Draft Forward (Light): 3 Feet, 6 Inches; Design: 1671 Class. This procurement is unrestricted. Requests should indicate whether the concern is a small or large business. Under SIC Code 3731, a concern is small if the number of employees of the concern and it's affiliates does not exceed 1,000 persons. Cokntractors shall have a Master Vessel Agreement with Fort Eustis, Virginia, in order to be awarded this contract. This solicitation package will be av ailable on 24 March 2003.The solicitation can be obtained through the Army's Single Face to Industry (ASFI) web site at http://acquisition.army.mil, under business opportunities, and also at http://tac.eustis.army.mil, under solicitations. All amendments to the solicitation will be posted to the ASFI web site. Contractors are cautioned to check the web site periodically for amendments. A site visit will be conducted in accordance with information provided in Section L of the solicitation.
