- NA This is a sources sought for planning purposes only. The Army Research Office intends to award a grant to the Academy of Applied Science, 98 Washington Street, Concord, New Hampshire, to support the Junior Science and Humanities Symposia (JSHS) program du ring the period of 13 Aug 2003 through 12 Aug 2008. The objective of the program is to provide assistance to high school students who desire to attend and compete in regional, national and international scientific and mathematics competitions. The JSHS p rogram is composed of (a) forty-eight regional symposia, (b) a national symposium, (c) various JSHS scholarships, (d) and International Mathematical Olympiad, (e) a London International Youth Science Forum, (f) a teachers award program and (g) an Operation Cherry Blossom program. These various programs are awarded yearly. To support these efforts, the grantee will award agreements to various pre-approved universities. The grantee will be responsible for providing the administrative management, facilities and support effort to conduct the entire JSHS program and will be required to prepare and provide to the Army Research Office an annual report of accomplishments. The Academy of Applied Science is currently conducting the program and has been awarded thi s effort competitively for the past twenty-six years. Any organization that is qualified and interested in performing this JSHS effort for the next five-year period may provide its organization?s capability statement and relevant experience with similar p rograms by 18 March 2003 to Kathryn C.
