- Description
- USNS SANTA BARBARA is scheduled for a 30 day upkeep availability beginning on/about 08 July 2003. Due to the ship's layup status performance area is restricted to the Charleston SC Area. Ship will require tow from lay berth to contractor's facility. MSRA/ABR holder's must have access to a pier in the Charleston Area. Major Items: (1) Steel Repairs; (2) Kick Pipes; (3) Vent Fan Motor Repair; (4) Sound Powered Phones; (5) Annual Firefighting Certification; (6) Preservation; (7) Vent Ducting Repair. A responsible offeror shall be considered eligible if the offeror holds a previously executed Agreement for Boat Repair (ABR)/Master Ship Repair Agreement (MSRA) prior to award of the contract. Interested parties will be able to download the solicitation from the internet at www.msc.navy.mil. Once in the MSC web page select contract then active request for proposals. Anticipate solicitation issue date on/about 21 March 2003.
