- Description
- The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division intends to purchase dDot Sensors, Baluns, and Current Probes on a brand-name or equal basis from either of two companies that have been identified as being capable of meeting the Government's minimum technical requirements: Prodyn Technologies, 2709 Vassar Place NE - Suite D, Albuquerque, NM 87107-1867 or EG&G Technical Services, Inc., Albuquerque Operations, 2420 Comanche Road NE - Suite D-2, Albuquerque, NM 87107-4630. The following items will be acquired: CLIN 0001 - Six (6) each dDot Sensors, 350MHz, either Prodyn Model Number AD-100A(R) or EG&G Model Number ACD-10(R); CLIN 0002 - Eight (8) each dDot Sensors, 3.5 GHz, either Prodyn Model Number AD-70D(R) or EG&G Model Number ACD-7(R); CLIN 0003 - Eight (8) each Baluns, 200kHz-3.0GHz, either Prodyn Model Number BIB-100F or EG&G Model Number DMB-4; CLIN 0004 - Ten (10) each Baluns, 22kHz-1.0GHz, either Prodyn Model Number BIB-160D or EG&G Model Number DMB-3; CLIN 0005 - Four (4) each Current Probes, either Prodyn Model Number IP-2-1 or EG&G Model Number SCP-5 HF. The offeror shall provide a copy of any warranty applicable to the items contained in this solicitation. All items shall be delivered, inspected, and accepted FOB destination to NSWCDD. Delivery for each CLIN shall be as follows: CLIN 0001 delivery shall be within 11 weeks after receipt of order; CLIN 0002 shall be within 9 weeks after receipt of order; CLINs 0003 and 0004 shall be within 3 weeks after receipt of order; CLIN 0005 shall be within 8 weeks after receipt of order. The government will award a contract from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforms to the solicitation at a reasonable price, and has a satisfactory past performance history for p roviding the same or similar items. The offeror shall provide with its offer a list of previous sales of the same or similar items with a description of the item, quantity, contract number, name of organization, point of contact, and telephone number and/or e-mail address. This announcement constitutes the only written notice; a quote is being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Simplified Acquisition Procedures will be used in accordance with FAR 13. The closing date is COB 10 March 2003. Quotes may be provided via fax to (540) 653-6810, Attn: XSD13-12 or via e-mail to XDS13@nswc.navy.mil reference quote #N00178-03-Q-3015. The anticipated award date is 13 March 2003. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-12 dated 27 January 2003 and DFARS Change Notice dated 1 4 February 2003. The North American Industry Classification System code is 334220, with a size standard of 750. The applicable DPAS rating is DO-C9. This procurement will be awarded on an all or none basis. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, 17320 Dahlgren Road, Dahlgren, VA 22448-5100 has implemented Electronic Commerce (EC) in the acquisition area, therefore the synopsis with any applicable amendments will be available on the World Wide Web at http://www.nswc.navy.mil.supply. Hard copies will not be provided. Vendors should regularly access the NSWCDD website to ensure they have downloaded any and all amendments.
