- The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport intends to award an ?M? type Supply Purchase Order with Firm Fixed Price Provisions to RD Instruments, 9855 Businesspark Avenue, San Diego, California, 92131-1101, pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) Only One Responsible Source under Federal Acquisition Regulations Part 12 -- Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items and Part 13 ? Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) to obtain: Item 0001 - Quantity 1, Doppler Velocity Sonar (SeaDeVil-ready) modified to fit into a 21 inch conformal insert. This item is sole source because the Doppler Velocity Sonar system must be compatible with other Doppler Velocity Sonar systems currently in use. The North American Industry Code is 334513, Size Standard 500 Employees. This acquisition is sole source to a small business. NOTE: Watch our web page because we contemplate the Estimated Request for Quotation (RFQ) issuance date on our web page to be 3/18/03.
