- This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. A written solicitation will not be issued. Request For Quotation (RFQ) number is N66604-03-Q-2376. Incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2000-07. NAICS Code is 541519; size standard is $21M. NUWC Division Newport intends to award a sole-source Purchase Order to Wind River Systems, 10 Tara Blvd. 1st Floor, Nashua, NH 03062 for the following items: ITEM 0001,QTY 1 Each, VxWorks OEM License Pentium III, includes One Board Support Package and BSP Developers Kit with VxWorks OEM License Annual Support and Maintenance; PN 170-D7326-NN and PN 530-95535. ITEM 0002,QTY 2 Each, VxWorks Tornado 2.2 Professional with RTV Win/Pentium:Node Locked, Includes: Core Tornado Tools, Code, Tornado Documentation WindView, Real-Time Visualization which includes Stethoscope, MemScope, Profile Scope and TraceScope with Tornado 2.2 Professional RTV Annual Support and Maintenance; PN 170-D6882-NN and PN 530-95487. Required delivery is 7 days after award, F.O.B. Destination Naval Station Newport; Newport, RI. Sole-Source Justification: Wind River Systems is the sole developer of this proprietary software. All other timely offers will be considered. Offers for other products must contain complete product information and prices. FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors--Commercial Items applies. Evaluation will be in accordance with FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation--Commercial Items. Evaluation factors are technical capability, price and past performance. Each is equally important. A completed copy of FAR 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items must be submitted with quote. FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions--Commercial Items and 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders--Commercial Items, and DFARS 52.212-7001, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisitions of Commercial Items apply.
