- Description
- The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Keyport is soliciting for Connectors. This requirement will be procured under FAR Part 12 commercial acquisition procedures utilizing best value evaluation of offers. This is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. This procurement will be solicited and awarded as an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity contract for a base ordering period of one year with the an option period of another year. The estimated connector requirements are as follows: Connector, 7 Pin, Plug Assembly, Non-Conductive Coating, Waterblocked, for SSN 688 Class Vertical Launch System in accordance with Specification No. 3004/12, estimated quantity 225 each. Connector, Electrical, Plug Assembly, Pressure Proof, 30 contact in accordance with Specification No. 3004/13, estimated quantity 105 each. Connector, 6 Pin, Plug Assembly, 6-Pin Contact in accordance with Spe cification No. 3004/11, estimated quantity 55 each. The estimated quantities for the option year will be the same as the base year. Delivery of items to be within 30 days after issuance of delivery order. FOB Destination: Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Keyport, Keyport, WA 98345. Inspection and Acceptance at Destination. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be issued by 07 Mar 03. The closing date of the solicitation is anticipated to be 27 Mar 03. When issued, the RFP will be posted electronically via NECO on the NUWC Division Keyport, Acquisition Division website. Offerors wishing to submit an offer are responsible for downloading their own copy of the RFP from this website and to frequently monitor the site for any amendments to the RFP. No telephone or fax requests for the RFP package will be accepted. An email request to klosem@kpt.nuwc.navy.mil will be accepted in the event an offeror experiences problems downloading the RFP from the NECO or NUWC Division Keyport website. No bidders list will be maintained by this office. No paper copies of the RFP / amendments will be mailed. Failure to respond to the electronically posted RFP and associated amendments prior to the date and time set for receipt of quotes may render your offer nonresponsive and result in rejection of the same. After downloading the solicitation, firms interested in submitting quotes must: (1) complete the pricing, (2) complete all representations and certifications found in the solicitation, (3) manufacturer information of proposed items and (4) ensure current registration in the DoD Central Contractor Registration database (http://www.ccr.gov/).
