- Description
- The Fleet Industrial Supply Center Norfolk Detachment Philadelphia intends to issue a solicitation for a firm fixed price contract for facilities space planning, engineering services, installation general services, communication equipment services, and administrative services to be performed at Naval Support Activity (NSA) Mechanicsburg and NSA Philadelphia. A twelve month base period and four twelve month option periods are contemplated. This requirement will solicited using full and open competition. The pending solicitation is part of a Government cost comparison to determine whether accomplishing the specified work by using a contract or by Government performance is more economical. If Government performance is determined to be more advantageous, this forthcoming solicitation will be cancelled and no contract will be awarded. The draft Request for Proposal (RFP) and Performance Work Statement(PWS)shall be made available electronically for review on the Navy Electronic Commerce Online website (www.neco.navy.mil)by 3 March 2003. All interested contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (www.ccr.gov). NOTE: THIS IS A DRAFT SOLICITATION THAT WILL NOT RESULT IN THE AWARD OF A CONTRACT. THE ACTUAL SOLICITATION SHALL BE RELEASED AT A FUTURE DATE.
