- Description
- The United States Government announces its interest in procuring the services of a developer for the development of a records storage facility to be leased by the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) for its own use. The development must be of sufficient size to accommodate the following requirements:  A single story building, with a floor plate of approximately 194,000 BOMA useable square feet  A required 100-foot setback from the boundaries of the site  A minimum ceiling height of 20 feet for all records storage bays  The building and site must meet all applicable local, county, and state building and fire safety codes The site for this development must be located within:  An area bounded by I-605 and Seal Beach Boulevard on the west, State Highway 60 and I-15 to the I-15/I-215 junction on the north, I-15/I-215 (whichever is eastern most) on the east, and State Highway 78 on the south, and extending 5 miles beyond these lines in any direction  A light industrial development setting that would provide modern design with a quality appearance The Solicitation for Offers (project: NAMA-03-SEM-0027) will be offered on or about March 18, 2003, and will be due on or about April 30, 2003. The SFP will be sent out to all parties that respond to this announcement. The SFO will be available as a Word document at www.fedbizopps.gov. The building is scheduled to be delivered by the winter of 2004, when phased occupancy begins.
