- Description
- The Securities and Exchange Commission intends to award a sole source contract to the University of Chicago for databases services that provide U.S. stock prices, volume and return data on common stocks listed on NYSE, AMEX and Nasdaq, with basic market indices. The service shall also include 1.5 million end-of-day price observations for U.S. Treasury bills, notes and bonds from 1961 ? present. This service shall also allow users to query both CRSP and Compustat historical databases. CRSP matches U.S. stock data with Compustat?s fundamental data, using permanent identifiers shared by both services. No solicitation will be issued for this sole source requirement. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to provide this service, which shall be considered by the agency. See note #22
