Description
This modification is issued to add the response date. This is a sources sought announcement to identify potential sources and gather information on current capabilities within the market. The Air Force Metrology Calibration Detachment is considering a purchase of 10,000 PSIG Pneumatic Deadweight Gauge (PDG). The anticipated quantity is six (6) each of 10,000 PSIG Pneumatic Deadweight Gauge (PDG). This is a gas pressure system consisting of a pneumatic deadweight pressure gauge with a piston /cylinder module, a 35 kg mass set, gas booster, gas pressure controller and basic software for assisting in pressuure generation, control, and measurement. The deadweight gauge is semi-automated with on-board sensors to generate gas pressures accurately. The gas booster operates off shop air and the deadweight gage uses bottled gas, (nitrogen), to generate pressure. The system operates directly in gas without liquid/gas separators. The deadweight gauge is a primary pressure standard capable of generating gas pressure 300 to 10,000 psig within +/-0.004% uncertainty. Absolute pressure is generated by addition of atmospheric pressure. Offerors responding to this sources sought market research must (1) state whether they are a small or large business.
